Scripture

Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

希伯來書10:24-25
「又要彼此相顧,激發愛心,勉勵行善。你們不可停止聚會,好像那些停止慣了的人,
倒要彼此勸勉,既知道那日子臨近,就更當如此。」

It's interesting that various English translations all use "let us" and "may we" and "we should", but 和合本 says "不可" and "又要".

It also talks about the HOW. It isn't just a COMMAND to do it, but a request to think about how we can ENCOURAGE each other.

It always amazes me how the Word of God has commandments and rebuke, but it is always from love. You can see it even in such a small passage......

It's also cool that the opposite of "give up meeting together" is "let us encourage one another" --- not simply "meet together".

Yes, I agree with 阿中 that God's comandments always fr love.. Love & care driven us to do so.

I remember that when I first came to know+believe in Christ, this scripture gave me a deep impression. It kept coming to my mind..especially at those time I didn't want to go church ^.^ha... (I guess God speak to me thru His word) This really encourage & remind me to "meet together".
